The 2007 Lexus ES 350 is powered by a new 272-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine coupled with a 6-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with sequential shift. The interior of the ES 350 features premium wood, polished metal and leather accents, and standard equipment includes Optitron gauges, dual-zone automatic climate control, 10-way power front seats, a sliding center console, a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, illuminated front cupholders, and an interior LED soft-lighting system. Safety equipment includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with Traction Control (TRAC), eight airbags including knee airbags for the driver and front passenger, optional rear-seat side airbags, an optional rear backup camera as part of the optional navigation system, and an intelligent Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) with headlights that swivel to help light a curve when the vehicle is turning. The optional panorama roof has a fixed glass panel over the rear-seat area and a sliding sunroof over the front seats. Ventilated front seats and a power rear sunshade are available options. The standard audio system features and in-dash 6-disc CD changer, an MP3 player and iPod connectivity. An optional Mark Levinson audio system includes 7.1-channel speaker architecture, 300 watts of power, 14 speakers, as well as DVD audio and video technology that lets occupants view DVD movies on the 7-inch screen while the ES 350 is parked.
