New for 2007 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class
The 2007 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class adds the CLK550 and high-performance CLK63 AMG to the lineup. Replacing the CLK500, the CLK550 is powered by a new 5.5-liter V8 engine delivering 382 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. With an engine developed entirely by AMG, the CLK63 AMG replaces the CLK55 AMG with a 507-horsepower 6.3-liter V8 that produces 465 lb-ft of torque. The CLK63 AMG rides on “staggered” 18-inch wheels, a sport suspension and more powerful compound brakes. A new Sport package is available on the CLK350 and CLK550 that features 10-spoke 17-inch wheels, shorter springs for a lower ride height, sport shocks, perforated brake discs and brake calipers, black ash wood interior trim, black carpets, and a special instrument cluster with white gauges.
